  • Aaron Dorsett, LMFT

    Aaron is a staff therapist at Emerge. He has a Master’s of marriage and Family Therapy from Converse University. He is also a Supervisor Candidate for Emerge.

    Before joining Emerge he was a Clinical Fellow in Emerge’s Post Degree Institute receiving further training and supervision in play therapy.

    Aaron is an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and aims to help client’s live life as their authentic selves. He is passionate about working with teens and adults in the LGBTQ+ community.

  • Sarah Gervais

    Sarah Gervais, LMFTS, RPT, is EMERGE’s Continuing Education Director, a Staff Therapist, and an LMFT, MFT Supervisor Candidate, RPT, and RPT Supervisor Candidate. She teaches play therapy courses at EMERGE and supervises clinicians in EMERGE'S Post-Degree Institute.

    Sarah has a bachelor's degree in psychology from North Greenville University and a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse College. She received further training and supervision in play therapy in the Post-Degree Institute at EMERGE. She is a member of the South Carolina Association for Play Therapy and the National Association for Play Therapy. As Continuing Education Director, she believes in the importance of providing relevant, valuable, and culturally sensitive trainings to therapists in our community and surrounding areas. Sarah enjoys working with children, adolescents and families.

  • David Heatherly

    Dr. David Heatherly, AAMFT Approved Supervisor, LMFT-S, and LPC-S , and is an Imago Relationship Therapist

    He received his Master’s level degree from Western Carolina University and his Doctorate from University of South Carolina.

  • Ross Hill, LMFT-S

    Ross Hill is a PDI supervisor. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology & sociology from Wofford College and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse University.

    Before returning to Emerge he worked with substance use disorders, mental health disorders, and relational problems in an outpatient setting, including collaboration with local programs such as Drug Court and Veterans’ Court. Ross enjoys working with men's issues, relationship problems (including nontraditional relationship structures), addiction, depression, and other phase of life challenges.

  • Sabrina Richardson

    Sabrina Richardson, LMFT-S, CEDS is a MFT Supervisor Candidate with EMERGE. Outside of EMERGE, Sabrina is the owner of Intrinsic Therapy, a private practice serving couples, families, and individuals. For the past two years, Sabrina served Marines, Sailors, and their Families at Parris Island and the Marine Corps Air Station. Sabrina’s clinical concentration is active and veteran military members, relational conflict, generational patterns, trauma, emotional disturbances, maladaptive coping, and binge eating disorder.

    As a therapist, Sabrina’s approach centers on thoughts and emotions that determine our behaviors and impact the choices we make. Sabrina is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy. Sabrina is a clinical member of AAMFT.

  • Hitha Srivatsan

    Hitha Srivatsan, LMFT-S is a PDI Supervisor with Emerge. she has special training and skill in interviewing and diagnosing clients, then counseling them and treating any mental and emotional disorders within the context of marriage and family.

    She was a Clinical Fellow in Emerge’s Post Degree Institute. She has degrees as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapist from Converse University.
