Post Degree Institute
EMERGE is also proud to be accredited as a free-standing Post-Degree Institute by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education. COAMFTE is a division of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, and allows the PDI program to assist clinicians in developing a specialty niche within the field as well as deepening clinical skill through client contact and supervision. This program is designed for individuals who hold a masters or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field and are seeking further training to obtain licensure, particularly in the state of South Carolina.
